This site is a resource dedicated to Adobe Flash Media Server (formerly Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX) and related technologies.

Flashcomguru.com was launched in January 2004 and is maintained single handedly by Stefan Richter, a seasoned Flash Platform developer. The site has grown into one of the largest resources for Flash Media Server and the Flash Platform.

Stefan is the founder of muchosmedia ltd, an independent software company specialising in real-time enabled web applications. Besides developing a range of in-house products the company provides consultancy and programming services to an international client base that includes ITV, Philips, Unilever and Cnet.

The company recently launched Scribblar, a web based collaboration tool that has gained great popularity amongst teachers and online tutoring providers.

In 2007 Stefan co-authored the 'Hands-on Guide to Flash Video', published by Elsevier.

In early 2009 Stefan was named as one of the most influential, innovative, and important people in the European online video space as part of the ?Streaming Media Dream Team 2009?, selected by Streaming Media Magazine.

Stefan is an Adobe Certified Professional and Trainer, Adobe Community Expert, public speaker and regular contributor to Streaming Media Magazine.
