For that you need to have or use screen capture drivers which should be twain compatible so flash can use them as camera.

Then you need to do such coding in client side coding to stream it to fcs.

hope this helps.

May be this will help : Another Screen Capture Solution for Flashcomm Application.
Is about VHScrCap instead of using camtasia. Most of people at flashcomm mailinglist already tried and is working.

Hi Djanoux!

I've tried and installed the application mentioned above, but my problem is that whenever I choose this instead of my webcam to broadcast my desktop all I get is a black screen.
What am I doing wrong? Please help me if you can!

Thanks,

Bajzi

I have tried the VHScrCap driver, but for some weird reason when I try to publish the video source, the Flash Player stops responding, then I have to kill the process.

It works fine until I try to publish it, I have a web cam and a TV-Card and they both work fine on FCS, just the VHScrCap source doesn't, I didn't try it on Flash player 7 or lower, maybe it doesn't support some of the Flash player 8 features.

Hi!

My problem is still that I can only see a white screen even at your demo app! What am I doing wrong here?
1. I start VHScrCAp. I set a region or a window.
2. Swith to the flashcom app.
3. Right click -> Settings and select the VHscrCap driver instead of my webcamera then I either see a white screen or the last frame of my webcam before switching.

Could you help me Djanoux what am I doing wrong here?

Thanks,

Bajzi

May be you set the video quality to high?

I usually set the video capture driver setting before go to Flashcomm app. And for that setting I'm using small app AMcamAMcap
Work fine for me.
