I have made some test of bandwidth used by FC when streaming music, for example it uses about the double of Netscape Radio... I think is because the audio codec is optimized for speech and no music... I´m correct? is there any way I could optimize the streaming of music (not mp3 but a live audio feed)

that could be tricky, your best bet is simply to play with the bandwidth and microphone settings (because FCS will see your music as a mic input)
good luck

try Wav out mix but you might need to just try them all and see which one works for you.

if you want to broadcast live music!
step 1 -> control panel -> sound settings -> preferred recording device -> select your sound card.
step 2 -> Double click on speaker icon in system tray -> Options -> properties -> Select your s/card in mixer device -> select RECORDING from radio options -> double check that LINE is selected as you are feeding live audio feed through it. -> press OK -> select LINE IN as your recording control.
should help!
