I am proud to be able to offer Daz's excellent Whiteboard component for sale on the site. You can check it out on this page which includes a working demo and some documentation.

The Whiteboard is a component developed to run on Flash Media Server / Flash Communication Server; it can be dragged and dropped directly into your Flash application. For more functionality it can be extended with custom tools and custom editors.

The component is available to purchase for $199 USD.

i see that comments are allowed ....cool
My 1st one would be to the author of this white board
very nice
i my self knowing that there is already a white board compounent from sample on macromedia
i can see there are a few things diffent btween the both
but wouldnt you agree that basicly this has been done?
and im trying to figure out where your target of buyer would be at the $199 price tag
i dont think that basic user understands what you done
so in seing the example i cant help but think that users will target in on the price
one users commented on the board that devolpers get 200 an hour
i say remember that macromedia has developed the system for users of there product becuase with out the this ,white board would probablt not exist.

ps: Imagen if macromedia started charging 200 bucks for each line of code? //end if ....lol

Eric,
I don't understand your question. Are you saying the whiteboard is overpriced? I don't believe it is (in fact I think it's very cheap) and paying customers are very happy with their purchase.
Or are you saying that the Macromedia component offers similar functions? In which case again I beg to differ but if you want to use the MM component then of course you are free to do so.

# Posted By YANKSATA | 3/30/06 7:25 PM
It's a component (swc), not a full source.
# Posted By stoem | 3/30/06 8:25 PM
thx for answer..but how to works (swc component) in my web server? I don't understand.Other question
How many intellect members support in server and SWC shared component?
(fms loaded, 100mbit uplink,amd64 bit,2gbram)

I am not sure what you mean. The component is used in Flash, it's deployed like any other FMS application. Sorry I have no figures on how many users it will support. The likelyhood is that it becomes unusable due to the number of uers way before any licensing limits are hit.

Well done.

If you could kindly clarify what procedure would be necessary to drop this into a barebobes HTML site.

I will presetn this application to our technology purchaser, once a response is rec'd.

Final inquiry... possibility of 'uploading' various/alternate backgrounds?

Sincere Thx,
BAT

Hello Bat,
the component is dropped into Flash and then compiled into a swf which in turn is inserted into an HTML page like any other swf or you can even publish with HTML right out of Flash. Very easy.

Images can be loaded 'underneath' the whiteboard. You'd have to write that logic yourself but yes it can be done. The background of the component can be set to invisible so that you are in fact drawing on top of the image that's loaded underneath.

Stefan

this componenet seems to be exactly what im looking for... im trying to create something like your whiteboard component...as the MM whiteboard.. the 'textbox' dont work.. do anyone else have this problem? i do.. i add a text box, and edit the text and another instance of the whiteboard on FMS.. and the text box is there but no text..and there is no clear funcion on mm's whoteboard, so yours is not bad...

we could consider buying it... but.. we need it to work for our portal..
does your component work similar like the MM whiteboard component? where i just drag it into flash and bind it with my fms connection and that it it will work?

hi farid,
yes, that's pretty much how it works.

I am interested in purchasing FCZone Whiteboard Component.
When I read the comments,
there was one comment that was almost same what I want to do.

>Images can be loaded 'underneath' the whiteboard. You'd have to write that logic yourself but yes it can be done. >The background of the component can be set to invisible so that you are in fact drawing on top of the image that's >loaded underneath.

Furthermore, I want to relocate the tool box and page box to the upper part.

So, I am wondering whether I buy the component only or the source code version.

You can do the image loading with the component. The relocation of the toolbar is another matter but if the source is too expensive for you then we coudl reloacate it for you for a surcharge and sell you a modified component.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I thought about your suggestions.
But I decided to purchase the source code version for the further modification.

With Best Regards,
