Adobe has just released version 1.0.1 of the FLVPlayback component for Flash Professional 8.

This update addresses a few issues around SMIL parsing, some streaming issues when using FMS, and some minor UI issues with custom components.

Ok where is the instructions on how to use SMIL when using this updated component? I want to use multiple bandwidth streams.

Ironically, even this updates ignores the fact that the features of SMIL that _are_ supported hardly conform to the specs, and the given examples don't vaidate at all. Also, why not provide a convenient MXP install, instead of backing-up and installing by hand...
