Flash On the Beach

Alltop, all the cool kids (and me)

I've just received this job posting which I think will be of interest to some of you.

Scribd.com, a VC-backed startup in San Francisco, is working on a stealth Flash project that is really, really cool. We're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in Flash, and we're looking for a great hacker to help us launch this ground-breaking product.
Must haves are a solid background in general programming with substantial experience in ActionScript programming (we use AS3). C++ experience is a big plus, as is experience with FMS. Creativity and interest in tackling a profoundly challenging problem are essential.

Scribd is a small, rapidly growing startup backed by top-tier venture capitalists (and Paul Graham's Y Combinator) with a beautiful office in downtown San Francisco. Scribd launched in March 2007 and was immediately popular. In just 6 months we've already grown into the world's largest open library of documents. We love to hire people who are passionate, creative, and interested in taking on a lot of responsibility.
Email responses to Jared at hackers@scribd.com.
